Best security guard management software in India (2026): 4 tools compared
We compared four tools Indian security agencies shortlist for managing guards across client sites, on face-verified attendance at each post, geofencing, night shifts, patrols, client reporting and guard payroll. This guide is published by Bazat Tracker. We rank on verified attendance and payroll, because that's what most agencies tell us they're buying for, and we've said plainly where another tool is the better choice.

How we compared
Face verification on every punch, so a substitute can't sign in as the rostered guard
A geofence per post, with mock-location detection
Visibility during the shift, not just at punch-in and punch-out
12-hour and overnight shifts that cross midnight
Patrol checkpoints and supervisor visits
Client-wise deployment reports
Guard payroll with overtime, PF and ESI
Offline capture at remote posts
Quick answer: which is the best security guard management software in India?
If your main problems are proxy guards, unmanned posts and month-end payroll, choose software that verifies each guard's face inside the geofence of their post and runs payroll from that record. That's Bazat Tracker. For other priorities:
Best for verified guard attendance + payroll in one: Bazat Tracker: face-verified punches per post, exit alerts, overnight shifts and PF/ESI payroll, from ₹249/user/month
Best for patrol rounds, incidents and client invoicing: EasyGuarding
Best for statutory payroll and PSARA documents: INDPayroll
Best for face attendance across a contract workforce: Truein
Best for: Agencies that want verified guard attendance and payroll in one system
Built around proving the right guard was at the right post for the whole shift. Each post gets its own geofence; guards punch in with a live face match and liveness check; location runs during duty hours with geofence exit alerts; and overnight shifts count as one shift. The same verified record produces client-wise deployment reports and runs payroll, overtime, PF/ESI and payslips.
Face match with liveness on every punch, inside the post's geofence
Mock-location and rooted-device detection
Geofence exit alerts during duty hours
Overnight and 12-hour shifts handled as one shift
Payroll with overtime, PF/ESI and payslips included
Consider it if: your biggest problems are proxy guards, unmanned posts and reconciling attendance before payroll. It doesn't include incident reporting or client invoicing.
2.
EasyGuarding
Best for: Patrol rounds, incident reports and client invoicing
Security-guard-specific software built with Indian agencies. Its website describes GPS-locked, face-verified duty start, QR checkpoint patrols, photo-backed incident reports, a client portal, weekly rosters with suggested cover for dropouts, licence-expiry alerts and invoices computed from verified attendance. Payroll isn't described on its public pages.
QR checkpoint patrols and incident reporting
Client portal showing guards on duty and patrol rounds
Client invoicing from verified attendance
Licence-expiry alerts for guards
Consider it if: patrol proof, incident handling and client-facing reporting matter more than having payroll in the same tool.
3.
INDPayroll
Best for: Statutory payroll and PSARA document tracking
A payroll-first platform with a security-agency offering: multi-site rostering including night shifts, geofenced GPS punch-in, biometric devices and kiosk mode, QR patrol check-ins, and detailed statutory payroll (PF, ESI, PT, LWF, gratuity, bonus) with a document vault and reminders for PSARA licences and police verification. Face matching on the guard's phone isn't described on its security page.
Deep Indian statutory payroll, including night and holiday pay
PSARA licence and police-verification reminders
Multi-site rostering with swap approvals
Free tier for very small teams
Consider it if: payroll and compliance are the priority, and you're comfortable with GPS or biometric-device attendance rather than face verification on each guard's phone.
4.
Truein
Best for: Face attendance across a large contract workforce
A face-recognition attendance app for contract and multi-site workforces, running on ordinary phones and tablets, with a geofence radius per site and kiosk mode. Its customers include large facility management firms. Security-specific workflows such as patrols, posts and overnight shift handling aren't described on its public pages.
Face-recognition attendance on phones or a site tablet
Per-site geofence radius
Proven with large multi-site FM workforces
Consider it if: you need reliable face attendance at fixed sites across a large contract workforce, and handle patrols and payroll elsewhere.
How to choose security guard management software
•Start with your biggest leak. If it's proxy guards and unmanned posts, require face verification on every punch inside each post's geofence. A QR scan or a GPS pin alone doesn't prove who was there.
•Ask what happens between punch-in and punch-out. Exit alerts or patrol checks during the shift are what catch a guard who leaves at 2 AM.
•Test an overnight shift during the trial. Shifts that cross midnight are where many attendance tools miscount hours and overtime.
•Decide where payroll lives. If it's in a separate tool, someone will still re-type attendance every month.
•Pilot on your hardest posts: remote sites, night-heavy contracts and the clients who dispute invoices.
What is security guard management software?
Security guard management software helps an agency prove and manage guard deployment across client sites. At its core it verifies attendance at each post, tracks shifts and supervisor visits, and produces reports clients accept with invoices. Broader suites add patrol tours, incident reporting, rostering, client portals, invoicing and payroll.
Different tools start from different places: some from patrol tours, some from payroll, some from attendance. That's why the right choice depends on which problem costs your agency the most.
How do security agencies manage guards across multiple client sites?
Treat every client site, and every post within it, as its own location with its own rules. A typical agency in India runs guards across offices, apartment complexes, warehouses and construction sites at once, often with day and night shifts at each. What matters is knowing, per client, which posts are manned right now and which guards were rostered but haven't arrived.
In Bazat Tracker, each post gets a geofence and each guard is mapped to the posts they cover through site assignment. A punch-in is accepted only inside the assigned post's boundary, with a live face match, which is how a geofencing attendance system stops a substitute or an off-site punch from counting. Deployment and attendance reports then break down per client site, so each client sees the guard-hours on their own premises. For the full product walkthrough, see Bazat Tracker's security guard management software.
Guard movement and location visibility during a shift
Punch-in and punch-out only cover the two ends of a 12-hour shift. The risk for most agencies sits in between: a guard who leaves the post at 2 AM, or a relief guard who never turns up after a handover.
Bazat Tracker captures location during duty hours only and raises a geofence exit alert when an on-duty guard leaves the post boundary. For supervisors and field officers who visit several client sites in a night, employee GPS route tracking records each stop, the time spent there and the distance between sites. It doesn't include incident reporting or client invoicing, so agencies that need those usually pair it with a dedicated tool.
Why QR patrol scans alone aren't proof of deployment
A QR or NFC scan proves a code was read at a time. It doesn't prove who held the phone, and it says nothing about the hours between rounds. Patrol checks are most useful on top of a shift that's already verified, with a face match at the post at punch-in and location during duty hours.
How we compiled this comparison
Details for each competitor come from their public websites and product pages in October 2026. Where a capability isn't described publicly we've marked it "Not stated", which doesn't mean it isn't available. Features and pricing change, so confirm anything that matters to you directly with each vendor.
It depends on your main problem. For verified guard attendance and payroll in one system, Bazat Tracker. For patrol rounds, incident reporting and client invoicing, EasyGuarding. For statutory payroll and PSARA document tracking, INDPayroll. For face attendance across a large contract workforce, Truein.
Face verification on every punch, a geofence per post with mock-location detection, visibility during the shift, support for overnight shifts, patrol and supervisor visit records, client-wise deployment reports and guard payroll with PF/ESI.
Usually not on its own. A QR scan proves a code was read, not who read it or what happened between rounds. Combine patrol checks with face-verified, geofenced attendance.
Most tools charge per guard or per user per month, and several only quote on request. Bazat Tracker starts at ₹249 per user per month on yearly billing, with attendance, geofencing and payroll included.
Good ones treat shifts that cross midnight, such as 8 PM to 8 AM, as a single shift so hours and overtime are correct. Test an overnight shift during any trial.
Yes, if each post has its own geofence. In Bazat Tracker, guards are assigned to their posts, punch in with a face match only inside that post's boundary, and on-duty location raises an alert if they leave it. Reports break down attendance and guard-hours per client site.
